Nominating Committee Report

How quickly time has flown! Half the year has gone by and the Association is gearing itself up for a smooth and easy transition to a new Board for 2009.

The slate for the upcoming year is being finalized as this newsletter is being printed. The slate consists of the following: President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 5 Directors.

In addition, we are always looking for individuals may not want to serve on the Board but
would like to help on our many committees: education, membership, awards, professional designations, sites/reservations, fundraising, website, and newsletter.

I thank all those outstanding individuals who have already signed up to put their time and effort into making the Escrow Associates of San Gabriel Valley one of the BEST regional associations in the state. We have a mix of escrow members as well as affiliate members who have agreed to serve, with past presidents and CEA Directors serving in a consultant capacity. For those who are interested to join the Board or serve on one of the committees, please contact Juliana Tu at julianat@vivaescrow.com.

The final slate will be submitted at the Board meeting on August 7th. Elections will be held at the September dinner meeting.

With our members’ support, we look forward to having an outstanding Board for 2009!
